Does Smart Hisab work without internet?

Yes. All your transactions, customer list, and reminders are saved directly on your phone and work with no internet connection. Anything you record offline syncs automatically the next time you're connected.

Is my data safe if I lose my phone?

Your ledger data is backed up to our servers whenever you're online, so reinstalling the app and logging back in with your phone number restores your customer and transaction history. Locally, your data is also encrypted on the device itself.

How do I log in?

Enter your phone number, and we'll send a one-time verification code to your WhatsApp. No separate password is needed.

Can I use a fingerprint or Face ID to open the app?

Yes, after your first login you can enable biometric unlock in Security Settings, backed by a 4-digit PIN as a fallback.

Can I attach a photo of the bill/receipt to a transaction?

Yes — up to 5 photos per transaction, from your camera or gallery.

What if I made a mistake in an entry?

You can edit or delete a transaction you created (protected by your PIN). Every change is recorded in that transaction's edit history so nothing is silently altered.

Can I get reminded when a customer's payment is due?

Yes — set a due date for any customer and Smart Hisab will notify you, even if you're offline at the time.

Can I export my records?

Yes, you can export a single customer's statement or your full customer book as a PDF to print, save, or share.
